This week, the Edmond Planning Commission approved the preliminary plans for the proposed site development of Harris Business Park. The development will cover a 2.3-acree property on the south side of East Second Street and the east side of Wade Martin Drive, which is zoned for open display. Wade Martin Drive is currently in poor condition and changes are being granted with the agreement of six property owners within the area.
Though the new business park will be along the east side of Wade Martin Drive, there will be no access to the property from that street. According to the developers, there will be a fence placed along the road in order to separate it and reduce the chances of it affecting other surrounding areas.
Based on the preliminary plan, two buildings will be constructed in the business park with separate uses for an automotive repair shop and a karate studio. The development project will be under HAS Holdings.
